The platform that wants you offline.
txtme.social is being built in Amsterdam. Until it opens, this page is the door: what it is, how far it is, and the list for the beta.
Under construction, on purpose.
Everything behind this door is being finished one piece at a time. It goes live when it is ready, not when a calendar says so. Four pieces, in the order they arrive.

Being built
You won’t find anyone here through search.
You meet, someone scans your code, and only then you’re connected.
One person. One code.
Many offline memories.
Every shirt carries one person’s code. Someone scans it in real life, and the two of you are connected in the app. Nobody finds you by searching. Nobody is pushed into your feed. The code opens only in the app; a normal camera sees a pattern and nothing else.

Five backs, five codes, five people. No ads, no algorithm, no data selling. Profiles stay invisible until two people have actually met. One app, two perspectives: one interface for the people in the room, and one for the cafés, bars, and creators shaping their offline moments.
Five screens from the prototype.
In development, tested in Amsterdam. Everything you see here is part of the beta. The places on it are chosen, not bought. Tap through.

Nobody buys their way to the top. If it is on the map, someone from txtme.social has been there.
A late opening, a small event, a friend who is out. Where you decide where to go tonight.
You follow a place because you were there. If you follow someone, you see them. No algorithm in between.
A group around a place, a night or a city. With a purpose and an end date. Nobody gets added without asking.
A profile is a choice: twelve pictures, what you are into, what you are up to. Nobody sees it without having met you.
The screens are renderings. The finished app may differ slightly.
The night is yours. The app takes care of the rest.
You pick the place. You meet whoever you meet. The phone stays in your pocket until the night is over, and the people you met are still there in the morning.
Where is everyone tonight? Live Pulse shows what is happening nearby, and the friends who are coming find each other before the first drink.
Phone away. No check-ins, no stories, no screen between you and the person in front of you. A code on a shirt is all it takes.
The night ends. The people don’t have to. A scan became a connection, the group chat lasted exactly as long as the night, and the person from the bar is still reachable in the morning.

Places worth finding.
People are already out. They drink coffee, eat, dance, meet friends, and every one of those moments happens inside a place. txtme.social puts verified cafés, restaurants, bars, studios and cultural places in front of exactly those people. No ads, no ranking, no algorithm.

The business interface, for the people who run those places, is being built right now. Being built
Where it started.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2025. The first codes went out during Amsterdam Dance Event that October, on people’s backs, in trams, in queues, on the dance floor. This October txtme.social is back in the ADE week, with the beta.
The shirt was never the point. It is the way in: a code on the back, printed on real people, scanned in real rooms. The first drop was designed around it, the beta is built around it, and the launch comes when the beta has done its work.

Built for people, not performance.
Get in before the doors open.
The prototype is ready and the list is short. Put your name down: the app lands on your phone before anyone else’s, you see Drop 01 first, and what goes out is decided with you. One mail, when it’s time.
